Makayla

Makayla’s journey is nothing short of incredible. When she first arrived at her Texas foster home, she was severely matted and uncomfortable, lying against the wall just trying to cope. But after a much needed grooming session, this beautiful poodle girl is finally feeling like herself again! Now her goofy, sweet personality is shining through! Makayla is a total charmer who can rock both a short cut and will be absolutely stunning with a fluffy coat as it grows back in. Either way, she turns heads and melts hearts.

She’s currently thriving in her Texas foster home, living with multiple other dogs and getting along wonderfully with everyone. She’d love a home where she can continue to feel safe, playful, and adored. Makayla is about four years old, and currently weighs 42 pounds. She does not have experience living with cats or children.

Her future family should be ready for regular grooming to keep her comfortable and health, something she truly deserves after all she’s been through. We would love for her to have an adopter waiting for her when she arrives in Wisconsin in April.
