Rocko

Rocko is a 2 year old squishy toad who can be likened to most toddlers; a little sassy, face always full of food, occasional tantrums, and so lovable. He does not come without medical quirks, as he was quickly diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy within the first few days of coming into the program. We learned he had had seizures for a year, sometimes 1-2 a day and was not on any anti-seizure medication. Additionally, he suffered severe heat stroke, which he miraculously survived.

Rocko has a medication routine to keep seizures at bay and will need this for lifelong care. He takes his meds like a champ!

Rocko hates vacuums, drones, and remote control cars, and bikes/scooters are meant to be chased. He LOVES belly rubs once he knows you and absentmindedly will nibble your fingers when he’s happy. Naps are regular and sometimes require a dryer-warmed blankie, but any cozy bed will suffice. Food is his love language and he’s most excited when it’s time to eat. He absolutely loves walks and balls of any kind and any size are his most favorite things to chase. He won’t bring it back though, ha! 

He lives with 5 other dogs, and while he doesn’t care to play, he’ll gladly lounge in the sun with them! Cats are unknown and older children/teens or adults only would be Ideal; he prefers to be the only toddler in the home.

Rocko is looking for a Frenchie experienced home and would love to find his forever!
