Meet the first new member of Paddy's Paws for 2026!

A local owner surrender, Rocko was a well loved member of a family who could no longer give him the time he needed with their work. His dad took the time and care to ensure he was up to date on all his vaccinations and a wellness check before he came to rescue.

Rocko is a two year old French bulldog who does well with other dogs and is reportedly a little afraid of cats. A typical bulldog, he’s funny, squishy, stubborn…did I mention squishy? He loves to be scratched, particularly on the booty, but he will settle for the ears. He’s the size of a 30 pound potato.

Rocko need a family who understands the bulldog personality and wellness care. He’s not yet neutered so he wears a belly band to help solidify housetraining, which is very common for mature unaltered males. He loves to be outside so walks and playtime will make potty time party time.

Rocko finds hardwood floors to be a bother and prefers to sprawl out like a frog on a bearskin rug. He supposes any rug could do.

Rocko does not ask for much. Just that your entire world revolves around him. It’s a bulldog thing. But he will still rest in a crate and take a break from you as needed.
