Eleanor

Eleanor is preparing for the 2025 Pavilion Pawty supporting Paddy’s Paws this Saturday!

While she’s planning to attend the party in hopes to meet someone special, she’d actually prefer not to be a party-going pup. She likes the couch, slow strolls, and being a homebody.

Somewhere along the line, we decided that dogs must want to be social as the norm. They must want to go to dog parks, hang out at breweries, happily meet and like anyone and everyone. But, that’s not true of humans, so why do we expect it of dogs? We encourage people to embrace their happiness and find their joy, celebrating them as individuals. But dogs? Nope. They’re held to unrealistic standards and it’s doing them a disservice.

So, sweet Eleanor, we will find you that person who’d rather hang at home and let you be their one and only. Hey, maybe it’s you!

Eleanor is still in her original person’s home that adopted her when she was a very young puppy. She’s now 4 and needs to start over. We hope that new chapter will begin for her soon! There is no adoption fee for Eleanor but her new person will need to complete our adoption application and process!
