Gertie - ADOPTED

Gertie is yet another Frenchie who found herself unwanted in Houston! It is obvious that Gertie has been a mama several times, though we don't know her full story.

Adorable, sweet, and affectionate, she loves to follow her people around and be with them. Gertie currently lives with two children, as well as five other dogs of various sizes and personalities and is excellent with them all! She will play when other dogs initiate it, but is otherwise comfortable just being snuggled.

She would LOVE to sleep in bed with you if possible. She walks well on a leash with encouragement (she is initially a bit timid of new places) and rides well in a car. Plus, Gertie is comfortable in a crate. She is just an excellent little companion!

Being a Frenchie, she would love a family familiar with the breed and their fun loving personalities and/or someone who has a history of exceptional medical care.
