Lola
Meet Lola! This sweet girl came to us as a local owner surrender and is now enjoying life in a loving foster home in Fort Atkinson. We don’t have an exact age, but our vets estimate around 9-11 years old.
Lola is incredibly gentle and easygoing. She settled into her foster home with ease and we’re confident she’ll transition just as smoothly into her forever home. Lola does have some arthritis, so continued pain management will be important—but she handles it like a champ! Despite her age, Lola still enjoys exploring the backyard, playing fetch, and going for walks. She goes for a 1-mile walk every day and she loves it!She currently lives with other dogs and school aged child and gets along wonderfully with everyone. Lola previously lived with cats and did well with them, too. She's simply looking for a loving human to call her own. She adores snuggling on the couch and staying close to her people— whenever she's inside or outside.
Taking on owner surrenders can be very costly for a volunteer rescue. Lola needed all basic veterinary care (vaccinations, heartworm/lymes testing), and is also scheduled to be spayed after having a full senior blood panel, echocardiogram, and dental. While this care will be in the thousands, her adoption fee will remain $250.
Lola will receive the best care…and deserves the best home!
