Coa - ADOPTED

True to her shepherd traits, Coa is loving, loyal, and protective.

This gorgeous girl is about 3.5 years old and weighs about 70 pounds. She has been waiting in her foster home since last June. Coa deserves the best forever home. She was a local owner surrender who was forced to live outside and her only purpose seemed to be to provide litters of puppies, rather than be a treasured family pet. Since Paddy’s rescued her last summer, she has been spayed, received vaccinations, and became an inside dog.

Coa loves treats and is very motivated by them. She is also crate trained and likes to go on walks. Her foster family has been helping her be less reactive on a leash. Coa is social with dogs her own size, but she does like to be the dominant one when playing. Due to her high prey drive, she is not recommended for families who have cats or smaller dogs. An excellent fetch player, Coa enjoys this activity in her foster’s fenced in yard.

We would love to find Coa a shepherd loving family who can provide her with the happy-ever-after she deserves.
