Champ is looking for a champion of his own! He would love for an approved adopter to express interest in him. Champ was homeless and living on the streets in East Houston. Kind strangers continued to feed him, but no one claimed him. He was forced to be independent if he wanted to survive on the streets. A volunteer from a local pound happened to spot him and whisked him away from the street life. She then reached out to Lola's Lucky Day in Houston for help. Champ is estimated to be around 7 months old and he currently weighs 29 lbs. He is being fostered with dogs of all shapes and sizes and seems to like everyone. We have not had the opportunity to see him around cats or children in his foster home. He loves to be outdoors and is learning to walk on a leash since no one ever showed him how to before. Champ travels to Wisconsin this weekend and hopes you will apply for him! You can find an application at
