The Paddy's Paws Barn
"Good Morning" from Paddy's Paws! Our volunteers were up bright and early this morning to welcome some delightful dogs to Wisconsin. Our transport barn is more than just a barn....it's a place where a rescue dog's dreams come true, it's where precious pups meet their forever families, and it's where once homeless dogs now find their happy-ever-afters. Stay tuned for updates from today's transport, including our favorite happy adoption photos.
sun is up! This is the safe place Paddy's Paws pups visit, (just for a morning), before they are taken home with pre-approved adopters. After arrival, their morning includes being harnessed and leashed for potty breaks in our fenced yard and their first look at beautiful rural Wisconsin, a morning snack and a cozy crate with toys and a soft blanket until their pre-approved adopters arrive. Volunteers then greet adopters and begin an informative group counseling, followed by individual counseling with pup and adopter to go over individual histories (created by their foster families in Texas) and medical records and then a meet and greet with new canine siblings if required. They wrap up their morning with a photo with their new family which we share on Facebook. From the streets in Houston, to caring foster homes in Texas, to Paddy's Paws pre-approved adopters, their journey is now complete. Showered with love and well wishes by the Paddy's Paws family, they leave to begin their happily ever after.
