Bandit heard it was National Puppy Day! At Paddy's Paws, we think every day should be 'Rescue' Puppy Day. Adoption truly saves lives as there are so many adorable puppies out there who are homeless. Our rescue partners work to help homeless pregnant dogs get off the streets so they can safely deliver their babies in a foster home and have them (and mom!) get adopted when they are healthy and ready to travel! Bandit's mom, Honey approached a kind stranger at a gas station parking lot on the coldest day of the year in Houston. Honey was VERY pregnant and jumped in the stranger's truck! She had a plan and it didn't involve delivering her puppies in a parking lot! Honey delivered her puppies in a warm and safe home! Fast forward nine weeks, Bandit and his siblings are headed to Wisconsin this weekend. Bandit and his brother Benjamin are still searching for their forever home. Their mom appears to be a shepherd mix who weighs 60 pounds. #AdoptDontShop
