Meet Jack!

Hi! My name is Jack!
Please read my entire biography for all the information the rescuers have about me and how to adopt me!
I am a 60# lab mix (my foster mom says "heavy on the lab"). My previous owners got me from the shelter, but then they left me out in the yard all the time and said they didn't have enough time for me. I almost went back to the shelter, but my foster mom swooped in and saved me! I'm now living the life! I am now living in a foster home in Fort Atkinson.
I love to snuggle on the bed, but I also like to sometimes cuddle up on the floor with my blanket. My foster mom and dad taught me how to use the dog door, and I know how to sit when I'm told. I'm really sweet and would benefit from obedience training to help me develop the manners a big pup needs!I  People say I have the energy of a puppy, but I'm in an adult's body. I like to be close to my people; I was awfully lonely out in that yard! I would do best with a playmate who is as active as me, and not a little pooch. - I know I need to be gentle, but I get so excited so small children or seniors may get knocked down by my exuberance. I give great puppy-dog eyes, and I look dark chocolate brown in the sunshine. I'm really handsome, and I'm really awesome, and I give sweet kisses. If you would like to give me a chance, I will make you very happy! Fill out an application today, and maybe we can be best friends FOREVER!.

Mimi, Sven, and Theodore!

Meet Mimi, Sven, and Theodore!

Mimi and Lulu wanted to share that they are having sweet dreams of traveling to Wisconsin! These two adorable girls will be headed to Wisconsin on April 24th, along with their brothers Sven and Theodore. Three of the pups are still waiting for their forever home. They would all love to have an approved adopter waiting for them!
The pups were rescued, along with their mother, from the Harris County Shelter. By the time they are ready to travel, they will be about 8-10 weeks old. The rescue thinks that the puppies may be some kind of yorkie/poodle mix and will be smaller in size like around 15 lbs. We can’t guarantee the size though as they are rescues and are still very young. Their mother was a smaller dog.

All of the pups are very social and playful and have been described as adorable little fluff balls! They are typical puppies that have done great with other dogs. Due to their smaller size, we are recommending that they go to homes with older children.

Meet Rusy!

Hi! My name is Rusty! I will be traveling to Wisconsin on April 10th. I would love to have a family waiting for me when I arrive.
Please read my entire biography for all the information the rescuers have about me and how to adopt me!
Rusty is as cute as they come! Rusty's mother was found wondering a country street very hungry and very pregnant in Houston. A loving family took her home with them to care for her while she continued her pregnancy. She had two tiny little boys, one of them being Rusty. He was born in early February. He currently weighs 2.5 lbs. Rusty has been described as a yorkie/chihuhua mix.
Rusty is a ball of love! He is very social and friendly. Besides being adorable, he has a great personality. His foster mom shared that once Rusty caught his reflection in a mirror and he entertained himself for the next twenty minutes. Rusty does great with everyone, including being in the company of dogs and cats. Due to his very small size, we are recommending that he goes to a home that has older children. His foster family shared that they need to walk around the house with caution, and no shoes, as Rusty likes to dart around. Rusty loves his toys and is described as lap loving, playful, and very friendly. He even likes car rides!
Rusty does require a spay/neuter contract.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.

Meet Patrick!

Hi! My name is Patrick! I will be traveling to Wisconsin on April 10th. I would love to have a family waiting for me when I arrive.
Please read my entire biography for all the information the rescuers have about me and how to adopt me!
Patrick looks like a teeny tiny black lab, but he is believed to be a chihuahua mix. He is about a year old and weighs approximately 10 pounds. He has little floppy black ears and the sweetest personality. He is really affectionate, super friendly, and an all around awesome little guy. He is really good about going outside to potty and is learning how to use a doggie door in his foster home. He is crate trained as well. He loves people and to play with other small dogs. He is perfect and a complete doll!!!!
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.

Meet Aislin!

Hi! My name is Aislin! I will be traveling to Wisconsin on April 10. I would love to have a family waiting for me when I arrive.
Please read my entire biography for all the information the rescuers have about me and how to adopt me!
Aislin is a 4 year old Jack Russell cattle dog mix who LOVES people. She is approximately 12lbs. She is potty trained and crate trained. She gets along well with her doggie friends in her current foster home. She loves all the attention. She doesn't bark much at all even when all of the other dogs make ruckus at the doorbell. She does have hyperopthalmia in one eye but it doesn't bother her one bit.
If she is joining a family with another canine, she will need time and patience to work through food possession with other dogs.  The best way to handle this is by feeding the dogs in a separate area to begin with.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.

The homeless dogs on the streets of Houston are no different than our own beloved pets. They long to be loved, they deserve to be loved and...they love their toys. Please help support Paddy's Paws in Fort Atkinson and our rescue partners in Texas who bring these pups to Wisconsin.

Meet Rocco!

Rocco!

Rocco is an energetic 4 year old terrier mix who was way too cute to be living at a gas station and sleeping near a freeway in Houston. He used to drink out of the gas station windshield wiper buckets as he was in search of water.

Rocco was taken in by a Houston family and had been living with one very large dog, one small dog and a cat. He is now living in a foster home in Wisconsin. Rocco needs someone who can spoil him with attention, he loves being around people and likes to be wherever his humans are. Please consider giving this sweet boy the second chance he so desperately deserves! Rocco is neutered, house trained, up to date on all his vaccinations, and gets along with dogs and cats. He would do better in a home with older children or an adult-only home.

Meet Eddie!

Meet Eddie! This 6 pound dachshund/pug mix is anxious to find his new family. Eddie is super sweet, handsome, affectionate, and great with furry friends and people of all ages! We would recommend that he be placed with older children (ages 6 and up), only because of his very small size. He is the result of a backyard breeder. One parent was a mini dachshund and the other a pug. He is approximately 9 months old.
Eddie is a young playful guy and loves to be held and snuggled. Eddie is currently working on housetraining and he is doing really well!

Meet Sophie!

She has not been around children or cats yet, but she seems to have a very sweet, calm personality.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.

Meet Wilson!

Hi! My name is Wilson and I am a lab mix. I am currently living in a foster home in Jefferson, Wisconsin. I would love to have a family adopt me.
Please read my entire biography for all the information the rescuers have about me and how to adopt me!
Wilson is a super lovely guy!! He's quiet, calm, very well mannered and totally potty trained. He's a little timid at first but every day he comes out of his shell a little more. He's a real sweetie! In Houston, Wilson and his siblings were dumped at a ranch house that was basically abandoned, locked up in a fenced area, and left there. He and his siblings broke free and locals helped to find fosters for these pups. Wilson is just over a year old and weighs about 40 pounds. Once he gets to know you, he is happy and outgoing. Wilson is not an excessive barker. For a fellow with a rough start he has done well and is looking for a family to call his own. We tried to cat test Wilson and he ran from the cat.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.
