Meet Ron!

Hi! My name is Ron. I will be traveling to Wisconsin on March 6. I would love to have a family waiting for me when I arrive.
Please read my entire biography for all the information the rescuers have about me and how to adopt me!
On February 13th, Lola's Lucky Day volunteers were working at the Harris County Shelter. They were still there past the time they had gone around and decided which dogs were to be put to sleep that day. Ron's card was one of those. One of the volunteers brought Ron out and he was soooooooooo happy!!! They gave him a bath and he could barely contain his excitement! They decided that they couldn't let anything bad happen to him so they scooped him up to safety!
They were very surprised when the vet aged him at only 4 months old! They think he will get to be rather large. Ron loves going for walks and playing with other dogs. He has a lot of puppy energy so needs someone that has time to devote to him for burning that off. He would benefit from a puppy class. He is a quick learner and loves attention! Ron is mostly housebroken and learning quick. He is a good boy who loves everyone!!
Ron has not been cat tested, but can be upon request.
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.

Snoopy is approximately 2 1/2 years old and weighs seventy-four pounds. Our best guess is that he is a German shepherd possibly mixed with Alaskan Malamute. He is a happy, friendly boy, who is so sweet! He seems to really love children. Snoopy does great with other dogs and loves children.  He has a very calm personality. This handsome boy is already in Fort Atkinson and needs to find a forever home.

Meet Casper!

Meet Casper!

Hello my name is Casper and my brother is Otis. We are both a year old and are a Sheppard mix. I am brown, black with some white and my brother Otis is a solid red cream color. We were found on the streets of Houston in a park. This nice lady would come and leave us food and water. Then one day she picked us up and put us in her car then she took us to a place where there were a lot of other dogs. This lady said we were getting the medicine we needed to keep us healthy. Then we were taken to this lady who is our foster mom. She is amazing and we love her but we are ready for our own family. My foster mom says that I need a family that will help me come out of my shell as I can be kind of shy sometimes.. Leashes scare me initially but once it’s on, I am ready to go!! I love to give kisses and give attention and get attention in return. I love car rides and toys especially the squeaky ones. Casper and Otis are traveling to Wisconsin on February 21st.

Meet Sadie!

Sadie is a fun, sweet, happy girl. She is about 56 lbs, 3-4 years old, and she loves people and playing with other dogs. She would love to have a buddy to play with and she likes to cuddle up with both dogs and people. Sadie is fully potty trained, crate trained when her foster family is not home, and has good house manners. She's lively and friendly, very bubbly personality. She is a great companion to cozy up with at home. Sadie is great with people and might be best in a home with kids over the age of 6 (just because she's a big girl) and would prefer to have a dog buddy in her new home.

Meet Wyatt!

Hi! My name is Wyatt. I will be traveling to Wisconsin soon and I would love to have a family waiting for me when I arrive.
Please read my entire biography for all the information the rescuers have about me and how to adopt me!
Wyatt is a 6.5 year old Australian Cattle dog who recently lost his remaining eye to glaucoma. Wyatt LOVES people and even enjoys cats. Wyatt also enjoys children, but would do best with older children because of his lack of eyesight.
Even though Wyatt is considered "special needs," there is nothing holding him back! He loves to swim, riding on 4-wheelers, and going fishing. He can even play fetch! (Just make sure he hears the ball hit the ground and he can find it!) This guy has a can-do-attitude! He also knows sit, shake, stay, lie down, and walks great on a leash. He is also great at the vet and even getting his nails trimmed! But, at the end of the day, nothing beats being home and getting some snuggle time!
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.

Meet Jack!

Jack is a young, black lab mix who is already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Hi! My name is Jack. I will be traveling to Wisconsin on March 6. I would love to have a family waiting for me when I arrive. Please read my entire biography for all the information the rescuers have about me and how to adopt me!

I am a 60# lab mix (my foster mom says "heavy on the lab"). My previous owners got me from the shelter, but then they left me out in the yard all the time and said they didn't have enough time for me. I almost went back to the shelter, but my foster mom swooped in and saved me! I'm now living the life!
I love to snuggle on the bed, but I also like to sometimes cuddle up on the floor with my blanket. My foster mom and dad taught me how to use the dog door, and I know how to sit when I'm told. I'm really sweet and I have good manners. I love to bark at my foster mom when she dries her hair, and I like to chew on my bones that she buys for me. I like to be close to my people; I was awfully lonely out in that yard! I love to play with other dogs, I want to play with cats because they seem really cool, and I like little kids, too - I know I need to be gentle with them. I give great puppy-dog eyes, and I look dark chocolate brown in the sunshine. I'm really handsome, and I'm really awesome, and I give sweet kisses. If you would like to give me a chance, I will make you very happy! Fill out an application today, and maybe we can be best friends FOREVER!

Meet Reno!

Reno is a beagle mix who is already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Reno's Story...
Reno is approximately five years old and weighs 10lbs. He has the cutest little under bite! His small stature would make him perfect for a smaller home or apartment. He is very friendly around new people and he gets along well with other dogs, too! He'd love to have a human friend that could take him on short, leisurely walks and give him lots of love and attention.  Reno is currently in a foster home in Whitewater and would love to find his forever family soon!

Meet Bingo!

Bingo is a young, maltipoo (Maltese/poodle) mix who is already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

For two weeks I had seen this little matted ball of fur from across a busy street in the driveway of a very unlivable trailer park. Initially I didn't even think it was a dog because from afar it looked like a small rock in the driveway because this thing was right in the middle of where big cars would drive into. I realized as days went on this was a living creature and that is when I knew this dog needed to be saved. September 28th, I drove into this trailer park determined to save a life... what I found was beyond words. It was not just one little dog there were many dogs in deplorable conditions. These dogs had been abandoned by their owners for quite a while and as I later found out the trailer park land had been sold and the residents only had 30 days to evacuate.
Bingo's freedom ride was memorable because he was so happy running and playing in the dirt driveway he called home for all his puppy life. Luckily that was only 6 months, according to the vet he is still a puppy who is very healthy, heart-worm negative and has great teeth. He has bonded very well with my pack of poodles and big dogs which are a Lab and Pit mix. Bingo loves to play ball and chase everything a puppy with high energy demands. He loves to run and play with my child, but the play is always supervised as children can be rough and we all know puppies also need lots of supervision.
Bingo still loves to play in the dirt and would ideally be an amazing agility dog because he loves to run so much in our big yard. He is friendly with our outside cats but tends to bark at them for attention. Bingo weighs approximately 14 pounds.
If you are looking to add a very affectionate love bug with high energy to your family or pack Bingo is the dog for you. Since he is a puppy he will give you a lifetime of happy memories.  Bingo is currently in a foster home in Jefferson, Wisconsin and would love for you to adopt him!
